Senior Executive Producer and Director of Digital Partnerships, GBH Bill Shribman has 30 years’ experience making digital media for kids, 25 of those have been at GBH, working to support children’s education through technology. WGBH Educational Foundation (GBH) is a 501c3 non-profit and the source of approximately one-third of the PBS primetime line-up, with signature series that include NOVA, Frontline, Masterpiece, Antiques Roadshow, ARTHUR and Molly of Denali. Bill is a two-time Daytime EMMY winner and has created national media literacy content in the form of video, animations, games, and after-school curriculum for his original series Ruff Ruffman: Humble Media Genius and Search It Up; these are both focused on the likely impact of artificial intelligence. He is an affiliate of BKC. His projects have included producing the Curious George website which has seen 3.5 billion page views, leading the Molly of Denali digital platform, developing an early literacy app with the Harvard Graduate School of Education, producing innovative VR projects with Microsoft and NASA, and creating outdoor science apps with NSF support. He is PI on an NSF grant developing a game with Alaska Native students to explore the impact of climate change. He also occasionally runs a small detective agency, The Fin Fur and Feather Bureau of Investigation. His TED-X and TED-Ed videos about photography are available online.
