Trisha Prabhu is the 23-year-old inventor and Founder and CEO of ReThink™, a patented technology that stops cyberbullying. ReThink detects offensive content and gives youth a chance to “ReThink” sending it, stopping online harassment before the damage is done. For her work with ReThink, Trisha was named the winner of Harvard University's President's Innovation Challenge and MIT Solve’s Elevate Prize. In 2021, she was the youngest honoree named to Forbes' 30 Under 30 Social Impact list. Most recently, Trisha was acclaimed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for her efforts to tackle online hate. Trisha is also a TED speaker and has delivered 100+ talks in 30 cities about the power of “ReThinking." Her debut book, “ReThink the Internet,” the world’s first-ever “by-youth, for-youth” guide to the Internet, was released in May 2022 from Penguin Random House. At the Berkman Klein Center, Trisha works alongside Professor Jonathan Zittrain to explore the viability of information fiduciaries, described as “a grand bargain to make tech companies trustworthy.” By investigating whether and how tech companies might hold a duty of loyalty to their users, Trisha hopes to understand how the law might be leveraged to safeguard today’s digital citizens’ interests. Trisha is a summa cum laude graduate of Harvard University. She is now pursuing her postgraduate study at the University of Oxford (Balliol College) as a US Rhodes Scholar.
