Gabe Armstrong-Scott is a Senior Advisor with the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet of New Zealand. Gabe supports the work of Special Envoy Jacinda Ardern at BKC and works on the Christchurch Call against terrorist and violent extremist content online (TVEC). Gabe’s scholarship focuses on the technical, ethical, and policy challenges in countering TVEC. She has also published on LGTBQ+ and international security issues. Gabe was previously a Graham Allison Fellow at Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and spent most of her early career working in national security and geopolitical risk. Gabe has an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, an AB from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, and a MPE (Economics) from Victoria University, where she won the Excellence Prize for top master’s student.
