Mary Joyce is a research assistant for the Internet & Democracy Project at the Berkman Center.  Her primary interest is digital activism, the ways in which digital tools can be used to increase the impact of grassroots activism around the world.  She is the co-founder of DigiActive.org, a community blog whose goal is to inform grassroots activists of how to use digital technology to achieve social and political change.  She is also the founder and principal of ZapBoom digital activism consulting.  Mary is currently a candidate for a Master in Public Policy and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.  She blogs at ZapBoom.com.
