Berkman fall events continue: two special events next week

Next Tuesday we're hosting a book party, a re-launch, for Blown to Bits: Your Life, Liberty, and Happiness after the Digital Explosion, with the book's three authors, and, on Thursday, a panel about "The Uncertain Internet: Core Net Values for the [TBD] Administration" will consider the Net’s benefits and increasing vulnerabilities:

  • The book party will bring the three authors -- Hal Abelson, Ken Ledeen, and Berkman Fellow Harry Lewis -- together to discuss their recent publication.  Learn more about the book and join us for the the celebration!
  • Berkman co-founder and faculty director Jonathan Zittrain will be joined by Susan Crawford, and Rich Miner for a discussion about the Internet's future and the political challenges to be faced when considering how to shape it.  Check it out.

Also, our Tuesday Luncheon Series guest next week will be the University of Geneva's Professor Jacques de Werra.  He'll be speaking about European copyright infringement policies and positions.

All three events are free and open to the public (RSVP required for the Luncheon). Please join us for these conversations!
