What is Harvard’s digital identity? The answer to this question affects many outside the Harvard community as well as inside. Other universities struggle with their own version of the question: What should be the character of educational and research institutions in the Internet world? These questions beyond Harvard’s walls—physical and virtual—require our attention, and must be in our minds as we seek to find our own answers.
