Sandra Elizabeth Vargas Aldana graduated in 1985 as a lawyer and notary. She has served as Second Member of the Board of Directors of the Colegio de Abogados de Guatemala (1992-1994), Member of the Board of directors of the School of Juridical and Social Sciences of the University of San Carlos of Guatemala for four years, Member of the Constitution Defense Center (CEDECON), Member of the Guatemalan Association of Lawyer for Human Rights, Member of the International and the Inter-American Bar Associations. Presently she is Assistant Registrator of the General Registry of Property.
