Arnoldo Camacho

Arnoldo R. Camacho Castro obtained a Ph.D. in Finance and Development, as well as a M.A. in International Economy at the Ohio State University. He also earned a degree on Civil Engineering at the University of Costa Rica. He joined the School of Economics of INCAE in 1989 as an Associate Professor of Business Economy and Bank Administration. He was the Academic Director of the Economic Training Program of the Banco Mundial. At the present time he is a full-time professor and Director the Program on Banking Training at INCAE. Since 1986 he has been a consultant in matters of Currency, Bank, Bank Supervision, Macroeconomics Analysis, Management of Economic Policy, Financing of Farming for the following institutions: BID, IICA,CEPAL, Arizona State University, The Ohio State University, DAI Inc., CEPAL/Chile, USAID/ Various Countries. He has served as an advisor to both the public and private sectors in Central America, Belize, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile, and Madagascar. Dr. Camacho is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
