Amy Aixi Zhang joined as a proud Berktern in the summer of 2015, and now serves as a Project Coordinator supporting research and projects related to Internet governance, digital privacy, and other topics. 
 
Amy graduated with Dean's Honors from New York University with a B.A. in politics and journalism. At university, she served as a managing editor leading an award-winning student newspaper. Upon graduation, she worked as a research assistant for an investigative journalist tackling socio-economic issues in the prison and parental rights system. She has also worked for The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, The New America Foundation, ProPublica, and NBC.  Her work has appeared in The Boston Globe, USA Today, and The Nation.
