Phillip Hill

Phillip Hill is 3L at Harvard Law School and a 2012–2013 Berkman Student Fellow. He was a Harvard Law School Summer Academic Writing Fellow in 2011 and was elected to the Board of Student Advisors. He is also the 3L Director of the Harvard Recording Artists Project, Entertainment Chair for the Committee on Sports and Entertainment Law, and a Submissions Manager for the Journal of Law and Technology. Since April of 2010, he has been a Research Assistant for Charles Nesson and will be a teaching fellow for Professor Jon Hanson this fall. His first article, "Fix It in the Mix? Disaggregating the Producer's Copyright," will be published in the Fall issue of the Journal of Law and Technology. Phil has worked in the legal department for the NFL, Marvel Entertainment, and, before law school, spent 7 years an audio engineer in the music industry. His focus is on copyright and trademark law in the modern entertainment industry.
