Meg Ambrose

Dr. Meg Ambrose is an assistant professor at Georgetown University in the Communication, Culture & Technology department working in the area of international technology policy. She has written extensively on the right to be forgotten, the subject of her dissertation. Her research interests cover a wide range of technology policy issues including comparative censorship and privacy law, technology management and ethics, reputation and identity, robotics law and policy, and the governance of emerging technologies. Professor Ambrose has held fellowships and research positions with the NSF funded eCSite project in the University of Colorado Department of Computer Science, the Silicon Flatirons Center at the University of Colorado School of Law, the Harvard Berkman Center for Internet & Society, CableLabs, and the Centre for Information Policy Leadership. She received her bachelors and J.D. degrees from the University of Illinois and her Ph.D. from the University of Colorado, Engineering & Applied Science, Technology, Media & Society.
