Anti-Spyware Coalition public meeting

Maxim Weinstein, manager of Berkman's StopBadware project, is facilitating a panel today at the annual public workshop of the Anti-Spyware Coalition in Washington, DC.

The theme of the workshop, Creating a Chain of Trust, is also the theme of a new initiative being jointly announced today by StopBadware, the Anti-Spyware Coalition, and the National Cyber Security Alliance: Cybersecurity Groups Launch 'Chain of Trust' Initiative to Combat Malware.

Maxim's panel, "Who owns the problem [of web-based malware]," as well as the other panels and speakers, will be webcast at

The workshop gets rolling around 9:00 am ET. Maxim's panel is scheduled for 10:15.
