Last week, at USC's Annenberg School for Communication, Media Re:public brought together fellow travelers, skeptics, journalists, executives, researchers for a lively forum. On the table: the state of the field of participatory media within the overall news and information environment. With so many practitioners in the room, the forum has already been reported, summarized, and examined -- with, we hope, more commentary to follow...
