Hosting Interdisciplinary Conversations About AI

The Student Leaders in AI program brings together 35+ participants across 10 Harvard schools

The Student Leaders in AI program is supported by the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society (BKC) to bring together Harvard students to share their curiosity, interest, and expertise related to artificial intelligence.

AI has taken over the technology discourse as governments, companies, nonprofits, and more react to the ever-changing landscape of capabilities and risks. It is now more critical than ever to bring diverse perspectives into dialogue and ensure that the rapid advancements of AI will be able to benefit all. For the spring term, 38 students across Harvard will meet with academics, industry leaders, and experts in the field to discuss and share knowledge across disciplines. This year, we are covering topics like international governance frameworks and innovations in generative AI. The students will also have the opportunity to deepen their engagement with the program through project pods, focused on translating discussions into real-world impact — such as writing white papers or building products.
