World_War_II

The largest armed conflict ever.  It had its beginnings in 
[[Japan]]'s invasion of [[China]], which is more accurately called the[[Sino-Japanese War]], the Pacific islands, and [[Southeast Asia]] in the 1930s and [[Germany]]'s invasion of [[Poland]] on 1st [[September]] 1939.

It ended in 1945.

[[WW II]] and [[WWII]] are abbreviations of World War II.
