Uralic_languages

The Uralic languages are a contrasted family of languages.  The best known subfamily is the [[Finno-ugric languages]], which are in turn separated into the [[Finnish-Permian languages]] and [[Ugric langeages]].  The other members comrise the [[Samoyedic languages]].  There is some debate about a possible relationship between the family as a whole and the [[Altaic languages]].
