An AmericaN [[Sports]] league, usually called the [[NFL]].

The [[NFL]] is the largest and most popular AmericanFootball league in the world.  It consists of 31 teams who represent most major American cities except LosAngeles.

The league has a new competitor in the form of a new league known as the [[XFL]].  Only time will tell if the new competitor will survive, but other attempts have failed in the past.

The [[USFL]] competed with the NFL from 198? - 198?.

At the end of each season, the winners of playoff games meet in the SuperBowl.
