One of the five boroughs that form the [[City of New York]] also called New York County. It is a small island between the [[Hudson River]] and the [[East River]], connected to both riversides by bridges and tunnels. The [[Empire State Building]], the theater district on [[Broadway]], the financial center on [[Wall Street]], [[Lincoln Center of the Performing Arts]], and [[Central Park]] are all in this small but densely populated island.
