IRFD / TEK Foundation announced at the World Summit the signing of a Strategic Partnership between the two foundations. Via this partnership IRFD and TEK Foundation will develop a "Globally Based Computerized and Electronic Education Infrastructure Network" consisting of 50,000 Education Resource Centers located according to population centers and needs. This Digital Network will serve two billion people who live in the world without electricity.
