Where does the option of allowing users to decide on the priority of apps and sites fit? -- dweinberger
- Good question, perhaps the answer is nowhere? If the ISPs limits traffic on a user by user by basis presumably somebody could write an application that you run on your machine that purposefully shapes your outgoing traffic if you are for some reason only getting a limited pipe (b/c you are a superuser). I guess there is an underlying assumption that if you aren't a bandwidth hog all of your packets will get through and priority won't be an issue. --Kparker 17:27, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
