Cooperation is an interdisciplinary community of researchers, projects, and practitioners engaged in studying the underlying factors that contribute to human cooperation.

We aim to encourage dialogue and serve as a meeting point for work occurring on cooperation in variety of fields including sociology, behavioral economics, simulation, evolutionary theory, law, Internet studies, business research, and psychology. Our goal is to not only share insights from these many individual fields, but also to support the development of new research that draws on these diverse talents and perspectives.

Our current projects include a large-scale study of online cooperation, an investigation of how traditional institutions have adopted cooperative practices, and a weekly seminar where we discuss research on cooperation from a variety of academic disciplines.
