NATIONAL AND CORPORATE SECURITY

The Berkman Center and the Georgia Tech Information Security Center are jointly undertaking a national and corporate security project. Still in the early planning stages, the project is envisioned as a consortium that will conduct corporate outreach and education about information security, host academic conferences focusing on key information security issues, create an Internet environment for education and awareness, conduct research studies on specific information security issues, create a trusted institutional structure for collecting and managing sensitive data essential to understanding the magnitude and scope of the information security problem, and make policy recommendations to and educate government officials on key issues.
