Yanni Alexander Loukissas is a designer and ethnographer with an interest in human-machine-environment relationships in creative and cooperative activities. Previously, he was a postdoctoral associate at the MIT Program in Science, Technology, and Society. His recent projects include a book about information technologies and professional identities entitled Co-Designers: Cultures of Computer Simulation in Architecture and an interactive data visualization of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, first exhibited at MIT's 150th anniversary. Originally trained as an architect, he has subsequently taught architecture as well as media arts at Cornell, MIT, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
