Leora's research looks at the way digital, networked media affect communication, marketing, and the economy of the Internet. Her work has been published in Harvard Business School cases, journal articles, and research reports for industry associations. Before moving into digital media research she co-founded Ubiquity Interactive, an early mobile company that created multimedia tours for museums using the Pocket PC platform, and public art and history tours that could be accessed via cell phone. Leora also spent 11 years working for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), most notably as the host of 'Realtime' (1994-1997), one of the first radio shows to incorporate Internet technologies such as webcasting, live chat, and email directly into the program. Post CBC she moved to England and completed graduate work in Media & Communications at Goldsmiths College, University of London. She's especially thrilled to have been a crossword puzzle clue in Canada's National Post newspaper in 2009.
