Hugo Van Vuuren founded the Experiment Fund at Harvard (backed by Accel, Breyer Capital, New Enterprise Associates and Polaris Partners), and was an Expert-in-Residence at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and a Graduate Fellow at The Berkman Center for Internet and Society.

Hugo graduated from Harvard with a Master in Design Studies (MDes) and an A.B. in  Economics, and was a fellow at Poptech, TED, and the Aspen Ideas Festival.
