Yochai Benkler joins HLS and the Berkman Center

We are extremely proud to announce that one of the great minds in our field, Yochai Benkler, will be joining Harvard Law School and the Berkman Center this Fall!  In an official announcement from the Law School and Dean Kagan this morning, she explained that Yochai has accepted an offer to join the HLS faculty as a professor of law and will also become a faculty co-director of the Berkman Center.

Yochai, who has been a professor at Yale Law School since '03, returns to HLS where he received a J.D. in '94 and was a Visiting Professor of Law during the 2002-2003 academic year.  He is the author of numerous articles and two books including the 2006 ground-breaking work, The Wealth of Networks: How Social Production Transforms Markets and Freedom.

The Berkman Center extends a heartfelt welcome to Yochai and looks forward to the wonderful collaboration to come.
