Palfrey Interviewed on NPR's "On the Media"

NPR's "On the Media" featured John Palfrey, Executive Director of the Berkman Center, yesterday in a segment concerning internet governance and regulation. Palfrey, like Lawrence Lessig, believes that regulation of the Internet occurs constantly via treaties, markets, technology, and social norms, and he rejects the idea that an additional regulatory superstructure is needed to support those four regulating modes.  Wonder what Palfrey would say about problems like SPAM? Or about protecting privacy and civil liberties? Listen to his NPR interview. If your questions are still unanswered, check out Net Dialogue. Overseen by Berkman fellow Mary Rundle, the Net Dialogue website aims to shed light on international Net governance and spur public discourse on regulation.
