Patrick McKiernan

Archived Biography:

Patrick joined the Berkman Center as Communications Coordinator in January of 2007, handling internal and external communications for the center, its fellows, and its projects. He previously spent his time in political communications working for various candidates and elected officials.

After graduating from Boston College, Patrick traveled the country for the Kerry campaign eventually working in five states and at the Democratic National Convention in Boston. Following the election, he worked as press secretary for a U.S. Congressman in Washington, DC before returning to his home state of Massachusetts to join in on the 2006 election cycle.

Working at the Berkman Center has been a great experience for Patrick, as he not only has the opportunity to work with leading scholars in the field, but also greatly enjoys the study and development of technology in campaigns and democracy.
