Cyberlaw Clinic >

Prospective Students

Welcome to the Berkman Center Cyberlaw Clinic! Throughout the year, HLS students work with us on a variety of real-world litigation, licensing, client counseling, advocacy & legislative projects, covering a broad spectrum of Internet, new technology, child protection, and intellectual property legal issues. To download a copy of the Clinic Overview handout, click here.

There are currently five courses that allow you to enroll in the Cyberlaw Clinic, two in the fall and one in the spring:

You can take the clinic in the fall, spring, or winter terms, regardless of when the substantive course meets. For example, if you take Child Exploitation, Pornography & the Internet in the Spring term, you can work at the Cyberlaw Clinic in the fall, winter, or spring terms.

The add/drop period for fall clinical placements runs from September 4 to September 5 only.  If you are still on the waitlist for the fall, feel free to contact the Cyberlaw Clinic staff to discuss the possibility of being admitted to the Clinic. For more information and details on the enrollment process, please see the Clinical Office website.
