Prospective Students

Welcome to the Berkman Center Cyberlaw Clinic! Throughout the year, HLS students work with us on a variety of real-world litigation, licensing, client counseling, advocacy & legislative projects, covering a broad spectrum of Internet, new technology, child protection, and intellectual property legal issues. To download a copy of the Clinic Overview handout describing our work in greater detail, click here.

For 2009-10 there are six courses that allow you to enroll in the Cyberlaw Clinic, two in the fall and three in the spring:

For most of these courses, you can take the clinic in the fall, spring, or winter terms, regardless of when the substantive course meets. For example, if you take Child Exploitation, Pornography & the Internet in the spring term, you can work at the Cyberlaw Clinic in the fall, winter, or spring terms.  There are, however, two exceptions: for Professor Cendali’s class, the Clinic is available only in the fall term; and for Professor Zittrain’s class, the Clinic is available only in the spring term.

Enrollment in the Cyberlaw Clinic for Fall 2009 has already taken place.  Details about enrollment in the Clinic for Winter and Spring 2010 can be found at the main HLS Clinical webpage
