Berklee College of Music offers lessons and tips on various musical topics, and encourages file-sharing among those who are not at the college; the content, at

Derek Slater is quoted in the article: "The key is that this is not an either/or, and Berklee gets that," he said, noting that distribution of knowledge and selective admissions need not be mutually exclusive.
