Virtgame.com has developed two separate eBorderSM Control technologies: one is Macro eBorderSM Control, the other, Micro eBorderSM Control.

Virtgame.com's eBorderTM Controls ensure that Internet and Closed-loop content and activity, including gaming applications, meet specified geographical distribution and legal restrictions.

Micro eBorderSM Control:
This Technology is deployed on a Closed-loop or Intra-net environment with an access portal (GUI) viewable to only specified users. This software uses, among other things, a telephone caller origination identifier system together with Virtgame.com's proprietary Active User Verification System (AUVSSM). Also, biometric software techniques are utilized to ensure the connection or activity is not forwarded from other locations.

AUVSSM is a plug-in that uses a dial-up connection to restrict access to specified jurisdictions or geographic areas, such as a single state. This software has recently set a precedence in the United States as the first system approved for legal use in the U.S. Recently, after thorough review and testing, the Nevada Gaming Control Board (GCB) approved our software to be used by a Sports Book operator within the state.

Virtgame’s Micro eBorderSM Control provides the power of State Wide WebSM or SWWSM versus World Wide Web or WWW (unregulated) for distribution of restricted and regulated products.  Virtgame believes the next best candidates for this technology are the U.S. State Lotteries.

Macro eBorderSM Control:

This Technology is deployed on the Internet with an access portal (GUI) viewable to all online users. At that portal, the software can geographically identify the user and provide the appropriate response and site content. The site content can be customized to the licensee’s specific distribution and legal requirements. This software uses a proprietary database developed by Virtgame.com to limit Internet users of certain jurisdictions and geographical areas from doing e-commerce with specified web sites. Some other features of the software include a proprietary middleware technology that interfaces and synchronizes with a map of all Internet ISP’s. This ISP Map is updated every 10 minutes to insure accuracy. We also use several other techniques to identify the user’s connection to the ISP including proprietary biometric software.

This technology can be effectively utilized to filter or provide geographically specific content to web users. For example, an airline ticket vendor is able to quote different rates to their online customers in the United States, England, Taiwan or other areas where promotional rates may differ.
