General Information

Certificate of Attendance:  A formal certificate of participation will be distributed to all participants after completion of the program provided tuition is paid in full. If necessary, a letter of attendance can be furnished upon request.

Continuing Legal Education Credit (CLE):  CLE credit may be available for American attorneys. It is very important that participants seeking credits complete the CLE section on the registration form. State mandatory CLE guidelines vary, and participants bear the responsibility of informing the staff on how to report information and to what organizations.

Dress:  Casual dress is appropriate. Participants are encouraged to dress for comfort. The weather in Cambridge during the month of May can be unpredictably warm or cool. Plan to dress in layers and bring along a lightweight jacket.

Facilities for the Disabled:  Harvard University has made a substantial commitment to making all of its programs and facilities accessible to disabled students. With very few exceptions, the buildings at Harvard Law School and most of Harvard University’s essential buildings are accessible to students with mobility impairments. Participants who have special needs addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act are asked to notify the Program Administrator at ilaw@cyber.law.harvard.edu at least three weeks before the program begins.

International Participation:  Participants from around the world are encouraged to attend the program. However, since courses will be conducted in English only, a working knowledge of English is necessary.

Parking:  Parking on campus is by special permit only. Daily permits can be obtained for $7.00 and will be available at registration on the first day of the program. Withdrawal/Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations received in writing on or before Thursday, April 29, 2004 are eligible for a refund. No refunds can be made after that date. There will be a $150 administrative cancellation fee.
