Keegan Rieks, a New York University alumni with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, is owner of both FitCeleb.com and StepbyStepMom.com. Both blogs focus on general lifestyle topics such as health, beauty and fashion - FitCeleb focuses more on celebrity diet and fitness, and StepbyStepMom focuses more on family and parenting topics (especially her own experiences being a stepmom).

What started out to be a part-time gig to make a few extra bucks has turned into a full-time job. With both blogs growing each and every day, Dana is dedicated to sharing pieces of information that she feels will be valuable, informative and entertaining to her readers.

Besides blogging for almost two years, Dana is also an AFAA certified group fitness instructor for Equinox and New York Sports Club in the Long Island, New York area. She teaches both cardio and sculpting classes like: Zumba®, Cardio Kickboxing, Sculpt and Interval classes.

In her fitness career she's participated in charities and events such as:

   Instructed Zumba for Benefit for Haiti at New York Sports Club, Hicksville. March 2010
   Instructed Zumbatomic during Multicultural Day at Roslyn Middle School. March 2010
   Instructed Zumba for Benefit for Breast Cancer at New York Sports Club, Hicksville. March 2010
   Instructed Zumba for Benefit for American Cancer Society at New York Sports Club, Oceanside. August 2009

Dana has also been the presenter for Zumba at the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NYS AHPERD) Teacher’s Conference. November 2009 & upcoming in 2010.

She has also presented a Dance Aerobics workshop at North Rockland High School for implementation in the secondary physical education curriculum. April 2010.

When Dana isn't blogging or running around teaching, she is obtaining her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Touro College. [1]
