ICANN Public Meetings November 12-15, 2001 - Marina del Rey, California In order to track
how many distinct participants join the meeting remotely,
we ask that you provide your name, email address, and company name before
accessing the audio/video feed or submitting real-time comments.
You are not required to provide the information to follow along - however,
we do strongly encourage you to identify yourself, just as most of those here
in the room are wearing nametags. We will post the names and companies of all remote participants (so please spell
and punctuate your name as you'd like to be listed in the archive),
but we will not share email addresses; however, we may use
contact information obtained here to send announcements pertaining to remote
participation in this meeting or future similar events.
TECHNICAL DETAILS Access to the streaming media feeds requires the RealPlayer version 5.0 or later (version G2 or later preferred) or the Microsoft Windows Media Player (version 6.4 or later); get your free copy from RealNetworks or Microsoft. Required bandwidth is, at the minimum, a 14.4 Kbps connection for audio only. Access to the real-time chat area requires a browser that supports JAVA (IE or Netscape version 3 or later) or a separate IRC client. Full use of the remote participation system requires a browser that supports cookies and JavaScript.
