StopBadware.org: Internship Opportunities

Michael Phelps can write Ruby apps in his sleep! (Can you?)

StopBadware.org Project overview

StopBadware.org, a project of the Berkman Center, is a partnership among academic institutions, technology industry leaders, and volunteers, all of whom are committed to protecting Internet and computer users from the threats to privacy and security that are caused by bad software. Some of our activities include evaluating applications and alerting the public if they are badware, testing previously-infected websites to determine whether they have been cleaned, assisting webmasters with removing malware from their sites, and analyzing data about the prevalence of web infections.

Two different internship opportunities are available:

S/he will also serve as a tester, manually looking for evidence of malware behavior and code on sites that have been submitted for review.
