Eric Liu is the author of The Accidental Asian: Notes of a Native Speaker. In 1998, he was named a fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society. He has served as a speechwriter for President Clinton and a director of legislative affairs at the National Security Council. A regular contributor to MSNBC and Slate, Eric also edited the anthology Next: Young American Writers on the New Generation. He was a co-director of the Berkman Center's Digital China/Harvard project.
