This site chronicles the case of Peter Berkowitz. An associate professor of government at Harvard, Berkowitz was recommended for tenure by the Department of Government in February 1997 and denied tenure by President Neil L. Rudenstine in April 1997. With Harvard Law School Professor Charles Nesson, Berkowitz has constructed an unprecedented appeal.
