Tom Brown

Tom Brown is a first-year student. Prior to attending Harvard Law School, Tom worked at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington as a software design engineer. He graduated Yale in 1998 with a bachelors of science in political science and computer science.

Matthew DelNero

Matthew DelNero is 1L at Harvard Law School. He is a born-and-bred New Englander, raised in Providence and educated at Tufts University in Medford, MA. Prior to attending law school, Matt was a Litigation Support Manager at a large Boston firm, where he helped manage numerous digital discovery endeavors.

Valerie Hung

Valerie Hung is a second-year law student at Harvard. She spends most of her free time ballroom dancing, doing The NY Times crossword puzzle, rooting for Stanford athletics, writing angst-ridden haiku, and wishing she were in California. Valerie hopes to be Ruler of the Universe (and all possible alternate realities) when she grows up.

Alexi Maltas

Alexi Maltas was born and raised here in the Boston area, where, from a young age, his goals in life were to become a fireman or a fish. He majored in Biomedical Ethics at Brown University and was named "Most likely to become a lounge singer." He spent the next two years as an elementary school music teacher in Los Angeles. Upon graduation from Hahvahd Law School, he hopes to clerk for a judge or open his own Arby's.

Talia Milgrom-Elcott

Talia Milgrom-Elcott is a 2L at Harvard Law School who has been working with Professor Nesson on the Digital Discovery project since its inception more than a year ago. She graduated from Harvard College in 1998 and spent a year volunteering in a youth village before beginning law school.

Rebecca Nesson

Rebecca Nesson is a 3L at Harvard Law School and, following in the footsteps of her dad, a computer geek at heart. She graduated from Harvard College in 1998 and is planning to remain in the fold at Harvard next year studying computer science and teaching about cyberlaw.

Joshua Solomon

Josh Solomon is a first-year student at Harvard Law School. In addition to his work on digital discovery, Josh has worked with Professor Nesson on issues of privacy and technology. In the wake of the 2000 presidential election, he also worked for the Florida legislature, under Harvard Professor Einer Elhauge, counsel to the Florida House of Representatives. Prior to coming to HLS, Josh worked for Advantage Schools, Inc., a Boston-based education management company that starts and operates new public schools in urban centers around the country. Prior to Advantage, Josh worked in the Office of Massachusetts Governor William Weld, where he focused primarily on the Governor's initiative to reorganize and downsize Massachusetts state government. Josh graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Afro-American Studies.
