The goal of Irwin & Zohari Arts & Design art gallery is to “Use SECOND LIFE as a platform to introduce wonderful art to the world," according to the proprietors' invitation to submit art for display. Art shown in the gallery must exist in REAL LIFE for sale.

The gallery is a clean and modern structure where visitors teleport into the lobby. There an my places to click through to webpages, get notecards and freebies from Career Builder who advertises in the lobby. You can even play the piano (without ever taking a lesson!). Perhaps the interesting feature in the lobby is a call to artists and researchers in SECOND LIFE to submit proposals for chapters in the "Handbook of Research on Computational Arts and Creative Informatics," edited by James Braman (Towson University, Towson, MD, USA) and Giovanni Vincenti (Gruppo Vincenti, S.r.L., Rome, Italy).

From the lobby visitors can teleport up to the Irwin and Zohari Arts and Design Tower, which is comprised of six floors. The walls of the tower are populated with the art of exhibiting artists and feature links to the artists' bios and REAL LIFE webpages.
