Frank's Place Dance and Jazz Club

Frank's Place is a beautiful, starlit, open air fantasy ballroom. Free gowns and tuxedos are offered to visitors. My avatar acquired a beautiful burgundy ballgown, and underwent a Cinderella-like transformation, pictured below:

Touching the disco ball, seen in the upper right hand corner of the screenshot allows will animate your avatar to dance to the romantic classics. It is possible to IM others in the room and ask them to dance with you, or to bring someone with you to be your dance partner. There are private dance floors and floating lounges, costume and dance contests to win free lindens. Frank's Place also features helicopter tours, magic blanket rides, and shops.

The avatars there are friendly, social and helpful. One assisted me when I wanted to purchase the free burgundy gown, another female avatar offered me a "sexy walk" so my avatar no longer wobbles, and when a gentleman finally accepted my IM to dance, he patiently assisted me in beginning and ending a dance with a partner. Dancing like an angel at Frank's Place requires no lessons or RL skill: to dance with a partner, once your invitation has been accepted, or you have been invited, just click on a pink or blue ball and select "sit here." Your avatar will magically move in tandem with another like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers!
