Flash Developers

This is not a Place search, but rather a Group. As a Flash designer/developer, I of course had to search for a Flash group in SL.

I found two groups; this seems like a very interesting concept, where we could hold truly "virtual" meetings on Flash-related topics; I co-chair Harvard's (Adobe-sponsored) Flash User Group, so activity here would yield pedagogical results for FL.

1) The first (Flash Developers, free membership - I joined) is a group of 19 members, although I was not able to chat (despite 2 attempts with on-line members) about recent activity, etc... - "This group is aimed to provide Flash-related information and help about Adobe's Flash technology. This is a non official group (that is, not supported by Adobe)"

2) The second (Macromedia Flash, 3 members) seems out-dated, especially since Flash is now a product of Adobe; membership is L$500, so I did not join, and was unable to chat with a member. - "Stay tuned for information on attending classes in SL on how to use Flash to create interactive movies."

It will be interested to discover how (if) Flash files (.SWF) can be interacted with inside of SL.
