1. What are we willing to do to develop and disseminate information?
In part, this depends on how strongly we feel about open networks and how highly we value pure information. It also depends on how much effort we are willing to expend to create, document, and share information – although with the vast options and ease of communication tools available, we are simply being lazy and complacent if we choose to do nothing. Perhaps it’s our duty and our right as citizens to receive unadulterated information and learn about topics from all conceivable perspectives. Further, some might say that doing so is the only way to enable individual freedom and autonomy, to make society truly democratic, and to promote idealistic goals of truth and justice.
It also comes down to how strongly we feel about a particular topic. In order to share with others any useful thougts, it it important to first have thought about and feel strongly about the information being disseminated. Find a driving source, a reason to speak. It's more than just talking for the sake of talking.
