The Berkman Center for Internet & Society has developed a sophisticated system for webcasting live events. The webcast and remote participation consists of a screen containing video and audio of the event, links to the main website and relevant readings for the event, and a chat space moderated by an informed in-room teaching fellow through in which remote participants may discuss the event, ask questions of the teaching fellow, and submit questions to the floor.
