What is Harvard's Digital Identity?

The identity of Harvard, the University, is understood and renowned both externally and internally. But can we say the same about the Harvard identity in the digital world? Who are we within the current framework of technology and new media? Can technology bring us together? Can it be used to help us foster community, or does it further isolate us? Are we breaking down or building new barriers? Who ponders these questions and who determines the answers? Will you?

The Harvard Conference on Internet & Society November 15-16, 2002 has been an opportunity to bring the extended Harvard community together to discuss these questions and more as we explore the University's digital identity.
